One of the characteristics I have found most interesting and admirable about the American people is their active involvement in the policy making of their country. They truly believe that they can make a difference and the overall lack of apathy is astounding to see for someone coming from a society where general lawlessness is the order of the day. This makes me proud to be an American…if only half.Granted, there are a few who believe that the general public’s influence is naught in a world run by the invisible elite but, well that is another discussion altogether.
With this in mind it has been more than interesting for me to watch the current election process run its course. What an interminable, elaborate and intriguing process! One in which every person becomes deeply immersed and intimately involved. Everybody asks after your vote and nobody is shy to openly discuss the merits of their chosen candidate - a trait I find a little disconcerting to be honest. I was always taught that politics is as personal as religion and should never be discussed in public!
Nevertheless, I have found the perfect political discussion and will defer to this from now on when cornered for a political opinion. Unfortunately I still cannot work out how to get video to show up in the blog itself so you’ll just have to follow the link. (I might chose a different lunch menu however)

Something to learn from this video clip other than very interesting political views, is that children are giant ears on little bodies and that they osmote EVERYTHING that goes on around them. So try and beware.
