I am afraid things may be a little quite on the blog front for a couple of days as I very busy trying to catch a kitten. It has been living in a hole under our house left by the plumbers and needs to come inside before it turns into a ‘golum’. I have been aware of it for a number of weeks now and have been feeding it as it was just tiny tiny and obviously motherless. I am also very embarrassed to admit that it appears to be the progeny of my Henry Pinkerton before his little visit to the ‘Marble Thief’, so of course I feel responsible for its well-being. After a couple of weeks of keeping an eye on it from a distance it has finally grown to the age where its curiosity is just ‘killing’ it and despite a very nervous disposition he cannot but help having to play with the few feathers and paper balls I keep using to entice him into the open.
So, I shall be spending the next few days spread-eagled on the cement, dressed in my ‘camo-gear’, smelling like tuna, waving peacock feathers at a bottomless black hole at the back of the house …… (and I wonder why people tend to avoid me)….
